On January 11, 2020, the "Shenzhen Ping An Financial Center South Tower Park Hyatt Hotel Project Excellence Award" conference was held in the Ping An Financial Center Building.

Shenzhen Ping An Park Hyatt Hotel is the highest-end luxury hotel project undertaken by VF in South China in 2019. VISUAL FEAST is honored to provide Park Hyatt with lighting products and services. Difficulties in the project

Swimming Pool

VF adheres to the corporate mission of " Improving the human settlements and adding value to users through light". From the beginning of the project, we had consistently assisted designers and owners to provide the best lighting solutions. The biggest difficulty of the Shenzhen Ping An Park Hyatt Hotel project is the lighting design of the pool space on the 8th floor.

The combination of the steel structure and the glass curtain wall introduces a lot of natural light into the swimming pool, and it also becomes the difficulty of lighting design for this space. The steel structure with the ceiling cross determines that the space above the swimming pool is not conducive to lighting. The high-power downlights arranged every 3-4m in the original scheme are not beautiful enough, and cause glare and discomfort to the guests who are swimming.

Therefore, the owners and designers decided to adjust the plan. The VF team communicated with the Hong Kong lighting consultant, Inverse Lighting. Taking the load-bearing factors into account, the initial plan is to arrange the ceiling mounted FOLLO series barrel shot on the steel structure of the pool beam top side Lights, but still could not achieve the desired results, so we carried out the second round of program adjustment.

In order to ensure the reasonable structure and uniform lighting effect of the swimming pool space, for the special structure of the inclined roof of the building, it is finally determined that the four-wire track and the FOLLO series track spotlight are selected on the position of the beam on the side of the steel structure, which ensures the installation position of the lamp Flexible, 355 ° horizontally adjustable, 90 ° vertically adjustable. Equipped with 28w power, it ensures the light from the steel structure 8m away could illuminated the center of the swimming pool with sufficient brightness.

After 20 days of cooperation, from the design plan adjustment, product production, and effect debugging, the designer, constructor, and VF team completed the adjustment of the swimming pool lighting plan with the highest efficiency. The soft light accurately illuminates the various areas of the swimming pool, shaping the night light level of this excellent daylighting space.

Guestroom

According to the room space structure and space ratio, the VF team cooperated with Hong Kong Inverse Lighting to improve VF's linear lights and downlight products. The width of the LINA series rigid light bars has been reduced to 1.2cm, and the RUYI series downlights are also in the optical accessories and lamp structure adjusted to ensure the layered sense of the lighting effect in the guest room. The appearance of the lamp is perfectly integrated with the space and node structure. VF's iconic high-quality light gives guests a warm and comfortable experience.
