LEEZA SOHO
Beijing · China
Project address
Lize financial and business district, Fengtai District, Beijing
Project overview
Located on Lize Road in southwest Beijing, Leeza SOHO tower anchors the new Fengtai business district – a growing financial and transport hub between the city centre and the recently opened Beijing Daxing International Airport to the south. The new business district is integral to Beijing’s multi-modal urban plan to accommodate growth without impacting existing infrastructure networks in the centre of the city.
This project is the final work of Zaha Hadid, the world's master architect and the "devil head" of architecture. The nearly 200m central atrium has become the most in the world. The Fishscale curtain wall is twisted and rising, and the construction of multi curvature arc-shaped board is very difficult. The overall shape of the atrium is extremely complex. Its winding and twisted structure weaves the building into two parts with visual impact effect, like a bright "eye of the night sky", becoming a new landmark in southwest Beijing.
